To All Young People, from me to you:

To all young people,

This is finance unrelated, but I've been meaning to get this message across to you. 2021- Needless to say, COVID-19 has impacted the whole world to unimaginable extend. There has been a lot of appreciation shown throughout this difficult time for frontline workers including doctors, nurses, delivery personnel, and rightfully so- they have sacrificed their lives and safety for the sake of ours. Whilst I urge you to stay at home and stay distanced, for your sake and for your loved ones, I also want to give a shout out to you, the young people of our generation. Whilst I have experienced this roller coaster of a year through the eyes of a student, I hope this message is able to resonate with every one of you:

Let's recognise how far we've come. Forced into lockdown and remote learning without prior notice is quite something. Yet here we are! We've come so far, cheesy as it sounds, and if we are able to overcome a year of this, what's a little longer? We endured this much, what's a little more? I know cancelled exams and MOCKS of those exams, one after another, aren't the most ideal circumstances (trust me, it's quite frustrating), but if we circle back to the frontliners keeping us safe, we should be encouraged by them to go through this tough time together, endure it together, for a little longer.

No matter the distance between one another currently, let's go through this supporting each other.

This was such a cheesy paragraph but I hope you get my message!

No matter the distance between us, let's emerge out of this situation with the medal over our chests, and victory in our hands.
